Information Planning
Information planning is another aspect of information architecture and information design. The information plan focuses on all how to develop and maintain the information product over its life cycle. The plan includes understanding the information product, the audience, and defining the audiences information; media such as WBT modules, books, chapters, job aids, web pages, and graphical presentations. The informational plan includes specifying the people who are responsible for developing content and a schedule for delivering information product. Regardless of the size of the project, gathering this information before the project begins will ensure the development process will generate the desired outcome.
