Postcard Design
When marketing with postcards, choose either the standard size of 5.5" X 4.2" or the oversize card of 5.5" X 8.5". Postcards are less expensive than traditional brochures in both printing and mailing costs. Postcards do not always have to be designed to mail out. They can reside at your business location for you to hand out like business cards. Here are a few things to consider when developing a concept for postcards:
- You have five seconds to convince a customer to read your card
- Indicate with as few words as possible what you will do for them
- Target the right people to receive your postcard
- Use both sides to promote your business
With the right promotional concept, a professional postcard design can expand your presence at a much lower cost than full page brochures.
