Pete’s career began in 1989 working for the G. Heileman Brewing Company as an information systems technician. His duties included the installation and maintenance of communication equipment for LAN/WAN networks, telephones PBX systems, and Ethernet, telephone, and fiber optic cable.

In 1995, he worked for Best Power Technology, a manufacturer of uninterruptible power systems. There, he was an electronic and technical support technician and later transition to technical writer and web developer. In these positions, he developed intranet websites, technical documents and service, software, and hardware manuals.

He has held the role of a technical writer for over twelve years and acquired skills in graphic design, information architecture, and multimedia production and working for a variety of companies in the telecom, medical, software, and manufacturing. Some of these companies include MCI, U.S. WEST, Amgen, and Gambro BCT.

Since 2007, he has professional career has been focused on instructional design, developing multimedia training materials such as computer based training, web based training, Power Point presentations, assessments, and course evaluations. Currently, he is employed at Level 3 Communications in Broomfield CO creating a variety of multimedia training courses that support internal employee training.
